About these terms

Melwa Gate Pass is provided by Melwire Rolling (Pvt) Ltd ("the company") to employees and other authorised people. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Your account and your pass

• Your account and your gate pass are personal. Never share your password, QR code or PIN, and never let another person use your pass
• Show the pass on your own phone at the gate. Security may also ask to see your company ID card
• A pass is valid only for the person, reason and time it was approved for
• Using another person's pass, altering a pass or leaving without a valid pass may be treated as misconduct under the company's disciplinary procedure

Requests

• Give a true reason and realistic times
• Request in good time so that your supervisor and HR can approve before you need to leave
• If your plans change, cancel the pass or ask your supervisor to

Coming back

• Return by the expected time on your pass and show the same QR code or PIN at the gate when you come back in
• If you will be late, inform your supervisor as soon as you can. Late returns are reported to your supervisor and HR automatically

Security officers

Security officers must check every pass at the gate, confirm the person's identity, and record each exit and return. They may refuse exit if a pass is not valid at that time.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other people's records, to create or alter passes you are not entitled to, or to interfere with the system.

Availability

The company aims to keep the system available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. If the system is unavailable, follow the paper gate pass procedure of your site.

Changes and law

The company may update the system and these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. For any question, contact the Human Resources Department of Melwire Rolling (Pvt) Ltd.
